Ingredients
1piecerustic bread/ loaf baguette
1piecegarlic clove
2tablespoonextra virgin olive oil
150gtomato - about 3 small tomatoes, ripe
1teaspoonflaky sea salt
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 360°F (180°C)
Meanwhile, slice the bread into pieces. Rinse and cut the tomatoes in half and peel the garlic cloves.
Then place the pieces of bread on the grill and put them in the oven for about 5 minutes or until they turn lightly golden.
Lightly rub some garlic over the surface of the warm bread.
Then rub tomato over it, letting the juices soak in.
Drizzle some extra virgin olive oil over the bread and sprinkle with a pinch of salt.Serve immediately while the bread is still warm!Bon profit!
Notes
Bread: A tasty rustic bread, ciabatta or baguette works best.
Garlic: Very fresh garlic is a must for this recipe.
Olive oil: Use extra virgin olive oil.
Tomatoes: We shot this Pa Amb Oli recipe while in Mallorca, so, of course, we used Ramallet tomatoes . But at home, we use any ripe, juicy tomatoes we can find.
Kosher salt: Flake salt gives a subtle crunch to Pa Amb Oli.
